How To Give An Inspiring Team Talk
| Sport : Rugby At half time you need to keep the troops fired up, whatever the situation. Have a huddle in the centre of the pitch, and as the coach, give out your ideas clearly and simply. Do not overload with ideas - the players can only take in a maximum of five ideas for the next half during the huddle. Make sure you speak in a positive manner in order to inspire - tell them to imagine winning and the feeling of excitement at overcoming the opposition and running out the victors. The more vivid the ideas you communicate, in terms of the words you use and the images you paint in the players minds, the more effective your team talk will be!
