Rather, start with lots of positives, and offer a negative gently as a 'by the way, you could..', or, 'the only thing I would say is..' this way you will provide constructive, useful, effective feedback whilst keeping morale high in your team. If you are too negative and critical it will be self-defeating for you and the team.
