How To Grow Tomatoes At Home From Seed

Gardening : Growing Plants

Here are a few tips for the budding gardener on how to get the best results with tomatoes:

- Seeds should be sown six to eight weeks before the last frosts are anticipated to occur (involves a little guesswork!)

- Clearly label the seed pots with the variety name and the date on which you have sown them.

- Tomato seeds germinate best at 15?C to 20?C .

- A windowsill is an ideal place to start off your seedlings and get them to germinate.
