Halloween Ideas

Miscellaneous

If you want to go on a day (or night) out for Halloween, then here are some ideas!

You could go on a Ghost walk in Edinburgh, which is one of the most haunted cities in Europe. Take a tour of the dark alleys and underground chambers.

Fright Night in Sheffield is the largest Halloween party in the UK, where you can join 40,000 people dressed up and take part in ghost tours, the ghost train or visit various stalls. There is also a fancy dress cat walk.

The London Eye does Halloween flights from the 25th to the 31st October, where it is transformed into a vampire academy, with stories and jokes for the children. There is a version just for grown ups on the 30th, with dark stories about London’s past.

Alnwick Castle in Northumberland was used as the set for the Harry Potter films. You can visit the site to carve pumpkins, hear scary stories and go on a tour.

Other good places to visit are The London Dungeons, Cambridge’s walking ghost tours, and Warwick Castle.
