There is a profound link between happiness and sleep.

Note that you need about eight hours of sleep a day (most ordinary people do) and if you get much less than this than your happiness can really suffer as a result.

The actual sleep time that impacts on our performance is around less than six hours of sleep.

In order to make yourself more likely to sleep, then consider the following:

- exhale for twice as long as you inhale, for instance 2:1 or 6:3 for instance.

This routine of breathing works quite well and may help you to get to sleep.
