Having good posture is essential.

Not only does it make you look confident, it also has health benefits.

Slouching is actually quite bad for you - not only can it lead to back pain and back troubles later in life, it also makes it harder for you to breathe as the slouching effect pushes down on your body.

To improve your posture, simply stand in front of the mirror for a few minutes each day, and push your shoulders back and stand up straight.

Feel how much nicer that feels than the normal slouched manner in which you walk - and take some deep breaths.

When you are walking down the street, try to remember to make a conscious effort to keep good posture and not slack down into old, bad habits.
