So here is how to cut your toe nails correctly: Use metal clippers and clip the nail straight across. Do this in two individual sections for each nail: and hold the toe with the other hand whilst doing so in order to add support and stop slippage! You should also file off the corners to about 45 degree angle, and in doing so try to copy the line of the cuticle as this then acts as a good guide. One mistake people make is to try to round off their nails. This should be avoided, as the impact of this will be that you may actually encourage the nail to become in-grown - the last thing that you want!
