How To Help Children Take Medicine

Health And Fitness : Baby

Some children find it hard to take medicine - often this is because it tastes frankly quite disgusting!

One way to reduce the prospect of this and therefore help them to take it is to gently rub an ice cube over their tongue for a few seconds.

The reason for this is that it stops the taste buds from working effectively for a seconds - just long enough for them to take and swallow the medicine without having to taste it!
