How To Help Your Swimming Develop

Sport : Swimming

One of the best ways to monitor and track your performance in the pool - and help yourself to get better and better - is through the keeping of a log.

In your log you should note:
- the number of workouts you do
- how long they last
- what you do in each workout

Over time, you should be able to use these to set yourself more stretching targets.

You can vary several things, for instance the length of the swim, the time it takes to do the swim, the strokes that you use in your swim and so on and so forth.

The log is also a great reward. At the end of a year you can flick back through the log and take great pleasure at how far you have come over the course of the year.

It is also a memory for future years to either keep for yourself or to show others.

Therefore start a swimming log today - it could really help you develop and improve as a swimmer.
