Holiday Bargains For Your Suitcase

Travel : Travel Tips

Travel size toiletries can be great for your luggage, but usually they are a real rip off compared to the equivelent amount in a full size bottle. So its best off using your usual size toiletries and just buying a few small empty bottles to fill up. These are fairly cheap in Superdrug. Failing this, just empty out some of your shampoo into another container at home and take just enough to last your holiday in the original packaging, so you save on extra weight. Even better, plan in advance - for example if it takes you a month to go through half a bottle of shampoo then open a new one a month before your holiday and you should be left with half left so you dont have to take a heavy, full bottle with you.

You can also buy travel adapters from beststuff.co.uk for £1.99, instead of £3.99 at John Lewis. Best to buy a few in case you want to use multiple appliances at the same time!

Dont buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes for your holiday either, just check the sales for a few extra accessories and mix and match with older outfits to create a new look.
