Home Working: Log Your Calls And Work Notes

It is a good habit to start logging whatever you can when it comes to your home business.

When you have phone calls, why not log them so that you can refer back to your notes on the call and remind yourself what was discussed later that day or in the future?

Also it is a good idea to log the work that you do each day. This can help when you try to assess how you are really spending your time at the end of the month and to find out what you actually spend your time doing - is admin taking over your life, for instance!

Also try to be organised not just with notes but with your materials too, so keep things filed and organised, the sooner you get on top the better.
