All that you need is one of the increasingly cheap docking stations. These come with speakers on so that you can play the sound and tunes off your iPod publicly. This is really good to let others enjoy your favourite song as well(!) depending on your tastes in music. Note that they also do handy things such as charge it so that once you have shared the music with others you can go off and enjoy it yourself again and they can get some peace.
