How Portion Size Can Help You Lose Weight

Many of us have our favourite foods, and can't resist going back for seconds or having extra large portions when we do.

One of the most effective methods of weight loss is to eat all your fave foods still, but simply reduce the portion size. This also has the added benefit of saving you money and making your rations last longer!

For instance, if you tend to have 5 ounces of pasta with your meal, then just try to reduce down to 4 ounces or alter pro rata.

If you tend to have five potatoes, have four - and so on for each meal. This gentle reduction in size of portions over time will be fairly painless, but over the course of a few months can be very effective.
