We have all read dramatic stories about the power of positive thinking in overcoming sometimes life threatening or debilitating disease, but on a less dramatic note than that, being positive and having a good outlook on life are generally good for ones sanity, and hence one's health! If you are a naturally quite negative person, then try adding some positivity into your life. Simple things such as smiling more and more can really help to this end - when you smile you can't help but feel happier; especially if you do so in front of the mirror - the recipient of a smile is almost certain to feel good. Generally try replacing any negative thoughts that crop up in your daily routine with positive ones - it is hard at first, but soon you will learn to catch negative thoughts as they happen and either stop them occurring completely, or alternatively replace with positive ones.
