How Your Imagination Can Help You Sleep

Health And Fitness : Top Health Tips

Your imagination can help you sleep!

If you are a poor sleeper, then you can actually use that brain which can keep you awake and worried to work in a positive manner for you.

Here's how.

Before bed, lie on your bed and close your eyes. Imagine a beautiful, peaceful scene. This might be a summer meadow and the birds singing in the trees, looking down over some rolling landscape.

Classically it might be a beach with white sand, deep blue waters and lapping waves at your feet.

Whatever it is, just imagine being there for a few minutes before bed each day to help relax you and get you in the mindset for sleep.

Once in bed if you catch yourself lapsing back into thinking about the day just gone - or the day ahead - then stop those thoughts from progressing and bring yourself back into that happy, gentle and relaxed place.
