How To Ice Skate Safely

Sport : Other Sports And Tips

When you go ice skating, it can be tempting to dodge the charge on skate on a frozen over pond or other mass of water.

However, you shouldn't do this and certainly not unsupervised in the vast majority of circumstances - frozen ice may not be as thick as it looks, and may crack.

If it cracks, you are in real danger of getting caught in deep water and even drowning as a result.

Therefore always go to a proper rink in preference to using a frozen piece of water.
