When it comes to carbs we should of course have some in our diet and it would be silly to try and strip them out totally like some diets in the past have done, particularly fad diets of the time that come and go.

So what should you do instead then? Well it helps to look for so called good carbs, or those that are healthier in foods that have high fibre contents such as fruit and veg, rather than refined sugar or white flour products.
