How To Identify If A Child Is Dyslexic
Education : Teaching Here are some symptoms that can help identify dyslexia: - the child gets confused by things you say and request of them - you have to repeat yourself several times or rephrase what you say - the child finds it hard to repeat, or explain to you - when the child reads outloud, does he/she talk fluidly or in a choppy manner, a few words at a time - does the child confuse words, for instance at for eat or tea, and sometimes replace words with other similarly spelt words? If you think a child is dyslexic, speak to the parent, and recommend that the child be professionally tested if necessary.
