For many it is just another day, whilst for some women it can seem to be the most important day of the year almost ;) Therefore if you want to impress, you might need to pull out all the stops. Here are some basic tips: First, ensure that you book a nice restaurant well in advance. They really fill up so to get her fave you need to book early, January should be alright! Second, flowers are cliched at others times of the year and might imply guilt on your part for something(!) but at valentines they are mandatory and must not be dispensed with. Third, the card is all important. Go for something as soppy as you can find and write words in it that you would not normally consider writing. Seal it and give it, and wait for her heart to melt. Remember that what you find soppy and sentimental might be just enough to melt her heart!
