How To Improve Concentration

Concentration and success are undoubtedly linked - if you can concentrate on a task steadily then you are more likely to achieve success in that task than if your mind is always wavering all over the place!

Here is one mental exercise you can do to improve on your concentration.

Simply look at the clock for one minute, and say the word 'one' then think nothing then think 'one' again.

If other thoughts come into your head, block them straight away.

However, then move to counting 'two' and so on, until the minute is up.

Aim: get to less than five thoughts during the minute.

Note: practice once or twice a day and you will start to find it easier to block out thoughts that might come in and distract you.

Result: better concentration and focus, easily!
