How To Improve Your Darts Scoring

Sport : Other Sports And Tips

When it comes to darts scoring it is impressive to watch the professionals and how they instantly know all the scoring combinations.

How do they manage to do that?

Well the truth is that it is not that they are brilliant at maths, it is simply that they get good through practice.

So that is what you should do also - in other words, you should play lots of darts and gradually over time you will learn the combinations.

These will also improve your game, because say you are on a score of 220, you will know what the best scores are from there to get down to a score that is easiest for you to go out on after.

There are tables and charts that you can use also to look at the combinations and learn from, but best of all rather than learning from rote is to get a feel for the numbers.

A good tip is to look at the end number and take it from there, for instance if you have 1 a number ending in '1' to check out, then you know that a treble 17 will be handy (51) to knock off the nasty '1' at the end and take you down to an even number, as of course you can only double out on an even number.
