Part of the problem is that people are inherently suspicious of giving out their email addresses these days as they get so much spam as it is. Therefore you need to make sure they realise that reading your E-Zine will be worthwhile to them. And it also helps to add a sweetener. One simple thing to do is to have an ongoing prize draw or competition for those who subscribe to your e-zine. For instance a monthly competition or random prize draw for members of the list can help new ones subscribe and keep existing members subscribed. Simple to do, the prize need not be expensive - so give it a go!
