How To Keep Dahlias Healthy

Gardening : Growing Plants

After the frost has kicked it, you will find that it will slightly blacken the leaves of your dahlias.

In order to keep them going, what you need to do is the cut the stems off about four inches ahove their roots.

Then what you do is stack the plants, placing them upside down somewhere that is warm and dry.

Remove soil that is remaining around the plant and then simply store them in dawdust somewhere cool and of course most importantly frost free, ready for the next year.
