How To Keep Impatiens Healthy In Winter
Gardening : Growing Plants These plants are quite susceptible to the frost as they are simply not a frost-hardy plant. Therefore what you need to do is move them to a greenhouse. If you don't have a greenhouse, then if you put them in a protected area in the corner of your porch, then this should be enough to protect them too. Also if keeping them outside, then you can consider also wrapping them in a fleece - there are special horticultural ones around - and this should help to protect the plant in extra cold spells!
