How To Keep Knots Out Of Hair Extensions

Beauty : Haircare

Mist your hair extensions with some de tangling spray as soon as you put them in, and also throughout the day as well. But remember not to soak them with the product.

Brush through them with a thick bristle concentration brush, starting at the ends and working your way upwards. Make sure to do this immediately after using the detangling spray. This type of brush smoothes out a lot of hair at the same time, without missing any knots. Hold the hair above any knots that you do find while you brush, to make sure you don’t rip out the extension.

Store them in a big box when you’re not using them. Make sure they don’t fold over themselves, and that they can lie flat. Cover the box securely with a lid so dust doesn’t fall on them and make them dirty or knotty.

Wash the extensions about once a week to get rid of any product build up. The info on the packet should have instructions on how you should wash them so read and follow this carefully.
