How To Keep Pets Safe In The Cold

You should ensure that you never let your dog play on icy ponds - or any other pet either - as of course you shouldn't yourself. Also make sure that you don't feed your pets your chocolate - specific sweet products for pets are fine, but never give pets human chocolate. In particular this could make dogs very ill. Don't take your pet out for too long in the cold, especially if a breed or animal that is not well adapted for the cold. Some small short-haired dog species are particularly vulnerable to the cold snaps.
