How To Keep Up With Children

Miscellaneous

It can be hard to keep up with your children and their interests. These change quickly as they enter school and work their way up to the age where they are about to start secondary school.

You should therefore try and keep up with what is going on in their world - for instance the music that they like, their favourite TV shows.

One great simple way of bonding is to actually watch their favourite TV show with them.

That way you are 'in' on their fun and are also physically present with them. Whilst you might not be directly conversing they will know you are there and appreciate you taking the time to be there with them.
