How To Keep Vegetables Fresher Longer

Food And Drink : Great Food Tips

There is nothing more annoying than having wasted food these days.

Particularly if you have food that is in date, but simply dries out.

So given this what can you do to protect your vegetables in the fridge and to ensure that they stay fresher for longer?

Well it is quite simple! All that you do is line the vegetable bins with some sponges.

Sometimes the sponges will get wet, this is because they absord the water that naturally builds up in that section of the fridge, and is what can make the vegetables soggy.

Just wring out the sponges then put them back in again, and away you go.
