How To Keep Young Children Occupied

Self Development : Parenting

There are a hundred and one activities small children can be given to occupy their mind when it is a cold and wet day.

Here is just one idea that you could use. And that is to make some greeting cards. Not only will these be useful in the future for family and friends - have you seen the prices of cards in the shops these days - but they are also great for occupying the minds of the children.

Simply get some coloured card and fold it over, and then come up with designs that can be given to grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family relatives.

This is a great way to let them use their imagination and do something creative, and kids this age love playing with pens, pencils, glitters and so on. Just keep the scissors out of reach with the younger children!
