Oxidation is caused by water sitting on the blades after use and this corrodes the metals, breaking them down. This may lead to them cutting your skin. Grab a plastic bag, towel, body lotion and some shaving cream and follow these tips. Always towel dry your razors after using them. This will also help to prevent rusting. When finished with them, store them in a plastic bag which will keep moisture from the air out. Make sure its completely dry before putting it away though. Best option is to keep them out of the bathroom as they can get really steamy from hot showers. Moisturise your skin before and after shaving as this will help avoid nicks and cuts. Use a shaving foam or cream aswell because this helps the blade to glide across your skin much smoother, resulting in a closer cut. This should also stop you from getting as many cuts aswell because the blade wont catch so often.
