How To Learn A Language With A Different Alphabet

Self Development : Learn A Foreign Language

If you want to learn a language with a different alphabet, then you have the huge challenge of learning all the new characters just as much as learning the actual words and spelling in that language and so on.

The best way to go about learning a new alphabet is to try to relate it back to english, if possible - if they are equivalents of letters in english for instance.

If not then you just need to bite the bullet and go for it. Try to split into small chunks, a few letters at a time, in the most logical division.

Practice writing the letters down rather than just staring at their structure on the page, as this helps you to commit them to memory through the process of going over and copying them down.
