Learning At Work: Discover Your Preference

Career : Your Career Values

If you want to learn at work, as indeed you should look to do, then it helps to ascertain your own learning preference and ensure that your training is structured in the way that works best for you.

For instance, some people prefer to be taught in a very organised manner, like in the classroom in fact.

If this is you then you will benefit from courses and theory taken away from the context of the office as opposed to learning on the job.

For those who prefer to be drip fed over time and in easily digestible chunks, however, then learning by example or learning on the job may be the best way to progress for you personally.
