How To Leave A Mailing List
| Computing : Internet If you have signed up for an email list, but now no longer have time to read the messages, or simply are not interested, then it is time to leave. How? Hopefully, if it is a reputable mailing list, there will be unsubscribe details at the bottom of the message. If this is the case, follow the instructions. However, if this is not the case, the best thing to try would be: - send an email entitled ?unsubscribe? - send it to the address: webmaster@thedomainname.com - if this does not work, try other combinations such as: majordomo@, listserv@, maillist@, sales@, orders@ or some other likely email address that will be read. - If you hit an incorrect address, then you should get an autoresponder saying the email is incorrect, hopefully with details of what to do. Ultimately, if you are not unsubscribed, contact the web site via their contact form.
