| Computing : Website Link Building If there is a site that you would really like to get a link from, then try giving them a testimonial. Perhaps you have bought a product or service from the site? Then write a glowing testimonial for them and say they may publish it on their site if they wish. Of course, the proviso is that you would really appreciate a link back to your site in return. This is a good method as it has a much more personal touch than those horrible generic 'I really liked your site on x, please link to my site y' emails that so many people send. And of course flattery is always a good method for turning people over to seeing your point of view!
