How To Live Off Nature Alone: Foods You Can Eat
Miscellaneous Well that title might be a bit ambitious, but if you are ever stuck a distance from home, then there are foods and natural products that you can eat, if you know what you are looking for. Clearly you need to be confident at identifying what you are eating which you do at your own risk, but here are some 'free' foods out there in nature that you can use if you need to. The most obvious are probably blackberries and other berry fruits that often grow wild; strawberries can sometimes be found wild, too. Wild garlic can often be found by rivers and streams, whilst nettles can become a substitute for spinach. Another interesting fact is that dandelions fried can taste almost like mushrooms! Wild mint is also commonplace, and when it comes to other fruits - well if you strike it lucky there may be apple trees around giving you a delicious and tasty snack!
