How To Look Good In Photos
Beauty : Style Guide When you are in front of the camera... Place one hand on your hip, instead of squashing it at the side of your body. This gives a slimming effect. Reveal more leg as it will make them look longer. Place hands on your hips for a smaller waist. If you have a close up make sure you are below the level of the lens. When you are behind the camera... Take photos from above or from the side to get the best lit shots, and to reduce double chins. Cloudier days are better as there are fewer harsh shadows. Avoid shots directly lit from above as it will cast shadowns. Morning and evening light is more flattering and gives a warmer effect. Use the night mode when in the dark as it will give a longer exposure and fewer shadows. Print out your best photos and put them all together in a yearly album. Label them with dates and locations and any names of models taking part in the photos in case you need to remember.
