To make money from such an "opportunity", you still have to submit the site to search engines, try and optimise the site for traffic, do all the marketing possible to get traffic to your site that is one of millions out there. You will need a unique marketing strategy, and surely need to change your template to differentiate from the masses. Be particularly wary of gambling, shopping or dating site templates on sale - there are hundreds of people out there with the same template as the one you are thinking about buying already. Better idea: think of your own unique idea or twist on an existing idea, and develop that instead. You will find the marketing easier as you are fully bought into your idea, and stand a better chance.
