How To Lose Your Christmas Weight

Health And Fitness : Exercise Guide

Everyone loves Christmas, and one of the biggest parts of Christmas is treating yourself and eating what you want, and having those extra cakes and chocolates that the rest of the year you would find the ability to resist.

However all that eating can lead to the new years blues where you weigh yourself and realise you have put on several pounds (or even more than that!) in the process.

So what can you do to get rid of those pounds?

The key is one word - exercise!

Do plenty of cardio work to get your heart pumping and those pounds will soon fall off. Try to avoid the temptation which is to eat a lot less. Rather eat normally as you always did but do good levels of exercise, aim for half an hour a day (if you have any health problems check with a doctor first).

The exercise is the key to losing the weight, not going on a crash diet after Christmas or not eating much in a desperate attempt to lose the Christmas weight - in fact reducing your food intake a lot can be quite dangerous and therefore you should never do it.

Much better to lose the Christmas weight and get trim again little by little than trying to do it quickly.
