On a diet there are many foods that are good for you to eat and those that you should, by the same measure, look to avoid.

Some excellent small meals that you should look to add to your diet a few times a week are:

- Vegetable soups

These are great to warm you up and make you feel good. There are many delicious recipes and they are a great diet food as they are low in calories, and also full of veg which is good for you. You can even make your own or buy specially prepared ones

- Fish

This is another great food for you - lots of good nutrients but the fish itself should be low in fat
