How to beat stress in your life


There are many ways in which you can reduce stress in your life. Stress is a bigger and bigger problem all the time, with the fast-paced executive lifestlye that many people live these days, they don't have time to wind down and neglect having a nice balanced life and get too focussed on their work.



Short of a lifestyle change, which is not a viable option for many people, one good way to try and beat stress is via the use of yoga, which is what we will look at in this article.



Yoga is essentially the linking of our physical and emotional self. It is supposed to do the following: - develop the body via physical exercise or postures - control the will and emotions via breathing techniques - free the mind via meditation



How can it change you as a person and help you conquer that stress-ridden lifestyle?



With regard to health, yoga doesn't just tone you up and keep you fit. Rather, these exercises it has have effects on all of your body. It can alleviate symptoms of several illnesses and problems.



With respect to stress, many exercises reduce body tension and help to alleviate stress. If you have bad news, sit quietly with a straight back and place your hands on your chest. Try to slow your breathing, feling the breath expanding and deflating your lungs in the process. If you feel worried, place your fingertips on your forehead, and conscisouly slow down your breathing. If you irritable feeling, place your hands on your chest in a prayer position. Close your eyes and breath slowly.



How about deep-seated stress? Try the following Lie on your back with your legs arched up and separated, with the feet just below your buttock cheeks. Spread your arms out to either side of the body, so you form something akin to a T shape roughly. Breathe in and out slowly, letting your weight sink into the floor as you breathe out. Do this for five minutes. Staying on your back, fold your legs up and wrap your arms around the back of your thighs. Hold for 2 mins.



Sit back on your heels. Tuck your head between your klnees, letting your arms hang loose behind you alongside your legs. Breathe in and out; slowly and easily.



Yoga is something that can be practiced in large or small ways. It can be done via a few small simple stretches, or via a large proper routine led at the gym and so on. It is really up to you. If you are intrigued by the above, you can buy many videos and books extolling the virtues of yoga and giving you various positions and aids to help you with conquering strength and staying fit and healthy and that sort of thing.

There are also many classes on offer around the country and gyms and the like that you can go along to and take part and find out more. But one thing is for sure - yoga has helped many people feel more complete, one way or the other in their lives, and to help them conquer that annoying, niggling stress. How to choose the sex of your baby!


I have read that this is true and these methods work - they are of course not fool proof, but can greatly increase the chance of you having a baby of one sex or the other. So if you've had a couple of boys and really want a little girl, just to equalise out things a little bit for you(!) then you could try the below methods!



Essentially, there are two factors here. To conceive a boy, intercourse must place at ovulation. For a girl, intercourse must occur before ovulation. So ladies need to track their cycle!



As for the men, for a boy sperm count must be high, for a low it must be low. A key factor here is the temperature level in the scrotum. If it is hot, it will increase the temperature and lower sperm count. Frequent sex also lowers the sperm count. If it is cold, it reduces the temperature and increases the sperm count, and this is best for a boy. Loose trousers help here, as do baggy trousers (the opposite for a girl!), and unfortunately the good old cold showers too! So now you know how to choose the sex of your baby!





How to achieve instant stress relief


Just got home from work and feeling stressed? Not any longer! Take a shower and focus a blast of hot water at the base of your skull - the pineal area to be exact which is the little spot/lump at the bottom of your skull. Why do you do this, I can hear you all asking? Well, very roughly, doing this will trigger the releases of stress busting chemicals into the blood stream. Your lungs will clear, your back muscles will loosen and you will feel pretty much fully refreshed. Great isn't it!



How to ensure you have great feet


- wear low-heeled shoes that seem nicely balanced to you - wear 'fashionable' shoes - e.g. high-heels and the like, only at weekends and the evenings if necessary - Buy shoes in the afternoon. Why? because feet spread slightly during the day. In short: don't punish your feet with tight, high-heeled shoes, and they will remain great for years to come!



How to have a better orgasm


Don't urinate! Not literally, of course. Rather, blokes should contract your muscles mid-stream whilst urinating. Do this 15 times a day. Pelvic muscles get stronger! Potentially important that you do this exercise as you get older to keep things as good, or even better perhaps, than they always have been!




How to make sure that salad really is good for you!


Salad is good for you. Right? Well, not necessarily. It's not bad for you per se, but you need to check the vegetables that are in the salad to make sure that you really are deriving all the benefit that you wanted and expect to get from the salad.



Avoid: lots of cheese - this increases fat content Also: cucumber lettuce since these contain little vitamin and mineral content



Include: broccoli tomatoes carrots since these are much higher in vitamins and minerals



Do the above and you will have a much healthier salad



How to cure hiccups


With sugar! This is effective in the majority of cases, just eat a teaspoon size quantity of sugar and the hiccups should stop. So you finally know the solution - and it's a lot sweeter and easier than getting the cup and drinking from the other side of it, or holiding your breath and all other sorts of bizarre and whacky solutions.



How ladies can reduce headaches




Often get headaches? It is more likely than not largely a result of the shoes that you wear! Yes it is! Wear shoes with soft soles and heels, not with huge, small heels that put a lot of pressure and hence jar your body greatly with each step that you take.

These softer shoes with small or no heels will minimise the impact of walking, and consequently soften the blows that your poor old skull has to endure the rest of the time.
