How To Make A Christmas Wreath
Religion And Culture : Presents Making a Christmas, or Advent, wreath is simple. A wreath is simply a circular crown, and usually the Advent Wreath contains four candles, one for each Sunday of Advent. To make the crown, first collect several small branches of pine, or other evergreen trees. Once collected, mould them into a circle. This may take some time, and you may need twine to help you. You can also get a dark coloured foam circle if you wish, and pierce the foam with the branches and make the wreath that way - just be sure to cover the foam. Once done, you can add red ribbons, silver-painted pinecones. Place four candles evenly - three purple and one pink if you have them. Make sure they are securely in place, and that the flame is burning well above the evergreen branches, which otherwise may catch fire! Then, light one candle on the first Sunday of Advent, two on the second, three on the third and four on the final Sunday of Advent.
