How To Make An Apricot Smoothie
Food And Drink : Drinks Apricots are great for making really healthy smoothies that are a bit different from your usual flavours! They contain lots of benificial vitamins which helo your body to strive. Its also ideal for low fat diets. The ingredients you will need for the smoothie are 1 (15.5-ounce) can of chilled apricots, 1 cup (8 ounces) of low fat plain or vanilla yogurt, 2 to 3 drops of vanilla extract, to taste, and 6 to 8 ice cubes. Chop up the apricots into smaller pieces if needed. Then throw all the ingredients into a blender, then put the lid on top securely and blend on high until smooth. If you need to, add some more ice cubes for a thicker mixture, and blend for a further 30 seconds or so. Pour a bit out to see if the consistency is alright for you then decide whether to add any more yoghurt or ice cubes. Find some tall glasses and pour the mixture into them, then add a straw to each one. Serve to your friends, and enjoy!
