How To Make Children Pick Up After Them
| Self Development : Parenting Some children don't realise they should pick up after their own mess. And the key is to teach them young so they remember and do it for life as responsible adults. Here is a great little tip from reader Debbie on how to encourage children to clean up after them and get the others to do so too! If you have a few children and they have made a mess and only 1 or 2 are picking things up. I have a helpful hint on how to make to make the others pick it up too. It does work for me alot. All you have to do is make it into a little game. like say Dereks picked up 5 how many can Dolly pick up. Whos going to win? I wonder. Encourage them, also make sure you do point out the fact that it doesn't matter who wins they still have done really good do this by giving ALL lots of praise and if you want to give them a little treat give them both one. Just a bit of fun really as well as tidying up.
