How To Make Free Hair Ties For Kids

Beauty : Haircare

If you have a daughter who wants to change their hair a bit, then try making some hair ties at home instead of going to the shops to buy some.

Lay out a coloured ribbon on a flat surface such as a table or bed. You can use left over present ribbon left over from birthdays and Christmas, or generally any unwanted decorations you dont use any more.

Slide the hair tie over the ribbon and pull the ends upwards so it falls in the middle.

Tie it in a simple knot and put your child's hair into a pony tail and secure it with the ribbon.

Adjust it if needed, so the knot sits at the end of the pony tail. Pull the ends up on the sides of the pony tail and then tie it into a bow. It should stay in place and not fall throughout the day. Make sure your child doesnt fiddle with it whilst they are at school.

Use different colours on different days for a bit of variety.
