How To Make Leaf Mulch

Gardening : Gardens

Making a nutritious mulch from leaves for your plants is really quite simple to do.

All that you need to do is rake up all the leaves in your garden - if you have trees in your garden or nearby, then this turns out to be a lot of leaves!

Put them all into old compost bags; if they are wet then that is fine, in fact they should be at least damp for best results.

Then all you do is add in some composting accelerator to the mix.

Then all that you do is leave them somewhere.

After a period of a year to 18 months, you will find that you now have a lovely leaf mould mulch - congratulations.
