That's because it can go wrong and we also tend to think that it is quite hard to make, but that's just not the case. Here is a great tip from reader Jakie on making mulled wine: How to make excellent 'mulled' wine perfect every time, even when using cheap dry reds. Follow a conventional recipe but have a bottle of Ribena Cordial (full sugar is best) on hand to adjust acidity and flavour. Yumsk!
