How To Make Sugar Syrup
Food And Drink : Desserts If you want to make lovely sugar syrup, then here is just what you have to do to get this lovely syrup: First, get a nice clean bottle - well washed in advance please - and add to it 50/50 of the following: water, and a fine, good quality caster sugar. Next, close and shake this for about a minute, nice and vigorous, to get a good mix. Leave to stand for five minutes to settle before repeating the shaking business. You can then use it straight away and it will keep in the fridge for several weeks, being as it is just a mix of sugar and water. And that's all there is to it - who knew that making sugar syrup was quite so simple before reading this; certainly beats buying it at the supermarket with a hefty mark-up!
