How To Make Your Job Search More Effective

Jobs : Job Search

If you are looking for a new job - job hunting - so called, and finding progress slow going, then the main thing that you need to do is increase the number of jobs that you apply for and therefore increase the opportunities and interviews you get.

Make sure that you take the time to:

- sign up for all local recruitment agencies

- sign up to as many web / internet based agencies as you can: these should be free to sign up for

- always scan job adverts in local and even national newspapers

- include a good quality, relevant covering letter along with your CV for each job you apply for

- tailor the CV for each job you apply to

You can even consider actively contacting companies you would like to work for to see if they have any jobs on offer.
