It can be particularly satisfying, and also give you more control once you become experienced. 1 - find a place that can be made totally dark. An attic is often good, because there are no windows in it 2 - buy: an enlarger, some trays, an easel, some tweezers, developing and fixing solution (ask your local photography shop for exact details if you are unsure) 3 - create a wet and dry side to the darkroom 4 - Tray one: developer Tray two: stop solution (e.g. water) Tray three: Fixing solution
