How To Make Yourself Happier
Self Development : Happiness There are many reasons you might be mildly unhappy - breakdown of a relationship or cold, dark, dreary weather. Whatever the reason, there are things you can do that are sure to cheer you up. The most important of these is to consciously make yourself smile - even if you don't feel like it, smiling makes you think you are happy! If done often enough, then you might just find that you do become just that... happy! Look in the mirror and smile for a few seconds. Try to laugh a little as you do it. Repeat a few times and you will feel your mood lighten. Another thing to do is to listen to your favourite, energetic mood and have a dance. It is proven that dancing makes you feel good as it connects with some base instinct of ours. Therefore in the privacy of your own room, dance around to music! Finally, try to give yourself rewards and suspend judgement. If you think you have done something wrong, then give yourself a break for once and relax. Even treat yourself to some material item that you really want.
